Explore all the hidden places.
Waterfalls come in all shapes and sizes some with lots of water some with huge drops they are all different but they all have character and they are all beautiful.
i spent the last 5 days exploring the central coromandel, searching for the hidden waterfalls that don’t get visited i went deep into the coromandel forest up some amazing valleys and i found some of the most beautiful waterfalls i have ever seen!
this has to be one of the most amazing waterfalls i have ever seen.
this one i visited just as the sun was setting it was an amazing micro adventure 20 min off the road but so worth it it was so peaceful being here!
“may the water flow were only nomads dare to go, it is there where the water lies that the truth hides.”
To find the courage to start an adventure is one of the hardest things. You must dig deep, find that place in your heart, look in your soul. If its what you want, then do it! Don’t let whatever your doing get you down or hold you back from achieving everything you want. All your dreams are possible.
Your the only one who can make them happen. Don’t plan for tomorrow start today, take the first step, it will be followed by millions more but that is the exciting part that is your adventure the doing is the living!
Nobody can stop you from being you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be ok, be freaking amazing.
you are in charge of your own life! don’t ever forget that.
I explored some of the streams that flow into the Mahakirau river in the coromandel forest park and i found a very lush little gorge. it was so wild and beautiful i didn’t want to disturb it it was doing what it has always done for thousands of years and will do for thousands to come.
after a short walk off the 309 road i came across this beauty.
don’t you just want to jump in?
I walked up the Waiwawa river to try and find some more hidden waterfalls and find them i did but what i really enjoyed about this was how big the rivers were they were amazing. i followed the river up for some time before i went off up a small side stream! i think the main point I’m trying to make is you can go to the ordinary waterfalls that are on the maps or you can get out into the bush and find your own! just don’t forget to carry the right kind of gear warm clothes, dry clothes food and water.
make sure you have fun take a friend out with you learn together grow together it will be a very rewarding experience.
