Waterfall Hunting

I finally found this magnificent waterfall!
It is on the Coromandel Peninsula. She falls about 80 meters down the cliff face before exploding into a deep pool at the bottom. This one’s not easy to get to though off the top of the Kopu-Hikuai road you have to make your way through thick native bush and undergrowth thats full of lots of the nasty sharp plants that grow in New Zealand. After being shredded by all the bush lawyer you will pop out on the edge of a cliff. Dont slip, it’s a long way down… if your lucky you will stumble across a overgrown track on your way towards the waterfall and thats a bit less chalanging otherwise just inbrace the challenge! let it teach you something.
Just to stand on top and smell the smells feel the wind and taste the water its worth the hard work getting there. All part of the adventure
Nothing can stop you from getting to this amazing location.
I was standing up above on this beautiful little ledge overlooking the Coromandel Forest. I could hear a thundering  waterfall from somewhere in the distance. It quickly became apparent that it wasn’t as far away as I thought I took a few more steps towards the edge of thr cliff and there was one of the most magnificent waterfalls I’ve ever seen.

I stood up on top and let myself go, I let the sounds of the waterfall fill my mind and push out all the stresses that the day had given me. I stood there and took in the coromandel forrest  I watched the trees bending in the wind and with every cold gust of wind I opened my heart a little more and appreciated the world that surrounded me!

I am nothing but a person! I will make a difference I will leave a positive mark on this world.
I am Wildboy.
